Isiris α

Single-use digital cystoscope with an integrated 2:1 rat-tooth grasper, built for ureteric stent removal rather than general cystoscopy. No instrument channel.

Isiris α is the odd one out in this catalogue and is included precisely because it is: it is not a general-purpose cystoscope but a stent-removal device, with the grasper built into the scope and no instrument channel at all. Irrigation and aspiration run through a Luer lock connector. That design lets stent removal move out of theatre and into a clinic room, which is where its cost case is made — so comparing it on channel width against the Ambu or Storz cystoscopes is the wrong comparison to make. It pairs with the reusable Isiris monitor, a 1.5 kg battery unit running three to four hours on a charge.
